Document Preview
As soon as you click on a document in Box, BEFORE you even start to edit, is what is called the Previewer. The previewer is very useful in that you can save time doing some basic tasks with the document without waiting for the app to open on your computer. For example: you can print, enlarge, forward and reverse.
Enhanced Document Preview Sidebar
Box is continuing to enhande the previewer to make it even more useful. One example is the enhanced sidebar. Below is how the old (current) and new (updated) experiences look.
To hide or show the sidebar:
- Look for the button now built into the sidebar itself.
- To hide the sidebar, click on the active tab icon to change to the collapsed view.
- To expand the sidebar again, click on the tab you'd like to open.
